A Little Bit About Me
What/who I am
A) Introvert by nature.  Work has made me more of an extrovert but it is a practiced skill for me. If you want a girl with amazing natural social skills skip me! I can do it, and do do it well (i.e. I don't think any auntys realise it!) but it's not my most comfortable side. 
B) Good daughter, sister, hala, neice and friend - even if I do say so myself.
C) The one repeatitive phrase/request I've seen on this site is "to have a good balance of East and West". Which frankly I don't get!  If it means be Eastern in terms of family (i.e. caring for and respecting your parents and other elders) and to be western in terms of fitting in, and understanding this culture then that's fine and I have that. On the other hand if it means hanging out at the local pub in shawlar kameez, or to be out in a club and then returning home to make rotis I'm very unbalanced!               


What I'm not
D) 5x a day namaz prayer. I used to be but then lost my way from it.  I'm getting back there slowly though. So all guys wanting a practicing wife can also skip on by.   
E) Sweetness and light and all things nice - it doesn't mean I'm a bitter nasty person, just that I'm a realist and tell it like it is.  I can sugar things up but I don't really like to.  I'm to the point, in the nicest most sincere way I can think of but it is always to the point. All those guys who have 'sweet' in their top criteria should also skip me! (is there anyone still left at this point..?) 
E) Good at self-promotion!

What I Am Looking For
Looking for someone who
1. has a sense of humour.  I'm tired of laughing at my own jokes!
2. enjoys life and understands how quickly it all passes.
3. is a gentleman. Old-fashioned term but as independent as I am and very sure I can do everything for myself, I still like a man to be a man.
4. is British-Pakistani and the right caste.  The caste bit is my parents request (see point B above).
5. is tall (5'11 or more). There is no way of saying it without sounding like I'm shallow, so.....well, I'm shallow. What can you do?
